Rev. Seulki Choi

Director of Creation Station Ministry

Rev. Seulki Choi is an ordained Deacon of the United Methodist Church, serving as an independent contractor in the role of intercultural family ministry coordinator in the Clergy Excellence team in the Great Plains Conference and Columbus First UMC since 2023.

Rev. Choi brings a rich educational and ministry background to her work. She earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Seoul Women's University in 2011, followed by a meaningful year-long internship at an institution focused on child abuse prevention in South Korea. From 2021-2023, she served as a support specialist for rural children's ministry at the Great Plains Conference, providing vital guidance and resources to children's ministers throughout Kansas and Nebraska. She completed her Master of Divinity degree at Drew Theological School in May 2022 and was ordained as a full Deacon of the United Methodist Church in June 2025. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

With deep passion for children and family ministry, Rev. Choi has demonstrated leadership in ministry programs across both South Korea and United Methodist Churches in the United States. Her multicultural perspective and professional expertise uniquely position her to serve families from diverse backgrounds.

Rev. Choi currently resides in Columbus, Nebraska, with her husband Rev. Keunsik, who serves as Senior Pastor of Columbus First United Methodist Church. Together they are raising their daughters, Vivian and Caroline, alongside their beloved cat, Hart.
