Sarah is our Christian Education and Youth Ministry Director. She was born in York and went to Doane College. Her first teaching position brought her to Columbus in 1992.

She immediately joined the church.  Sarah and her husband, Scott, were married at First UMC in 1994 and moved to Platte Center.  They have 3 children.   Rebecca lives in Corpus Christi, TX, with her husband and Nickolas lives in Bennington with his wife.   Scott and Sarah's son, Daniel, is still living at home and attends Lakeview High School.  

Sarah loves working with the youth and children of the church. During a typical Wednesday night youth group 20-25 people come share their faith in God at the Outreach Center.
