The Education (study) area of church activity is coordinated by Sarah Borgman and is supported by the Education Committee, chaired by Peg Jeffres.

Education covers many ministries, for example:                              
Sunday School for children, youth and adults
Vacation Bible School
Growth opportunities for children during special times of the year
Small group development such as the Alpha Course ("Christianity 101"), Disciple Bible Study, Financial Peace University
Friendship Bible Study for special education and fellowship
Advent and Lenten studies
Bible Study on Tuesdays at 9:30 am
Library, etc.

The history the Alpha Course dates back to 2003 at the Columbus First United Methodist Church. Keystone Group  meets at the Senior Center on the first Friday of each month at 11:45 AM for lunch and fellowship.

     Transportation available for Sunday 10:30 service. Call the church by Friday to schedule
